Finished in House of Kolor black with shaved bodywork, it sits on a Detroit Speed chassis and pairs its high-output V8 with a 4L80E automatic transmission and a Moser Ford 9.0-inch rear end. With show-level execution and performance-focused hardware throughout, this Camaro represents a serious modern interpretation of old-school American muscle.

The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro laid the foundation for one of America’s most enduring performance icons. This example takes that foundation and pushes it into modern territory, delivering a pro-touring build that combines classic GM muscle car DNA with serious performance upgrades.

 

At its core sits a 454ci LSX V8 that puts out 627 horsepower, equipped with polished cylinder heads, a Hogan Racing intake, and a Holley Dominator EFI system. Power is routed through a 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission to a Moser Ford 9-inch rear end with 4.10 gears, delivering strong, consistent acceleration. A Hooker Blackheart stainless exhaust system and Ultimate headers complete the drivetrain, providing both performance and sound.

 

The chassis has been comprehensively upgraded with a Detroit Speed setup, including a 4-link rear suspension, tubular front A-arms, and adjustable coilover shocks. This configuration significantly improves handling and stability, while Wilwood disc brakes with modern calipers and rotors provide confident stopping power. An electric power brake booster with ABS further enhances drivability.
