The Sunbeam Tiger occupies a unique place in British performance-car history, combining compact European roadster styling with American V8 power. This example takes that formula considerably further, incorporating a high-output 347ci Ford-based V8, modernized chassis components, rack-and-pinion steering, and upgraded braking while retaining the character and proportions that make the Tiger so distinctive.

The exterior is finished in Midnight Blue, the car’s original color, and presents a clean, purposeful appearance. A vented fiberglass hood provides additional clearance for the V8 while adding a subtle performance touch, complemented by chrome bumpers and both blue and black removable/folding soft tops. The chassis has been substantially upgraded with a Dale’s Restoration front crossmember, reinforced control arms, custom K-member, and rack-and-pinion steering, while Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes provide modern stopping capability.
