Seller's Introduction
duPont REGISTRY Live presents this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, offered as part of a limited 3-hour duPont Drop flash sale. This fully custom build combines classic styling with modern performance engineering, built on an Art Morrison G-Max chassis and powered by a supercharged 454ci LSX V8.
Overview
The Scoggin-Dickey 454ci LSX V8, equipped with an LS9 supercharger, is paired with a 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission, sending power to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50 Truetrac gears and Strange 31-spline axles. The chassis incorporates a C5 Corvette front suspension and a trailing arm rear with Watts link, supported by Strange adjustable coilovers. Additional components include Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with 6-piston calipers, Wilwood master cylinder, power rack-and-pinion steering, Fuel Lab fuel system with custom cell, and a remote transmission cooler. Long-tube headers and a Magnaflow dual exhaust complete the setup.
The exterior features Dynacorn custom bodywork with a cowl induction hood, custom decklid, and shaved engine bay. Body-color bumpers, shaved door handles, and a custom rear valence with mesh exhaust exits give it a clean, modern look. Additional details include motorized RS hideaway headlights, a flush-mount tinted windshield, and a black power convertible top. The car sits on custom wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires (265/30ZR19 front, 335/25ZR20 rear).
Inside is a fully custom leather interior with yellow contrast stitching, custom door panels, and a driver-focused layout. Features include a Sparco steering wheel, Ididit column, B&M ratchet shifter, and AutoMeter gauges. Audio is handled by a Kenwood head unit, Memphis subwoofer, and Focal speakers, with power windows and air conditioning adding usability.
