Showing just over 550 miles since the rebuild, this classic Bronco features extensive drivetrain/powertrain upgrades and presents a rugged, modernized reinterpretation of Ford’s legendary first-generation off-road icon. 

Introduced in 1966, the first-generation Ford Bronco quickly became one of the most capable compact off-road vehicles of its era. Designed to take on the Jeep CJ and International Scout at the time, the Bronco combined rugged body-on-frame construction with a short wheelbase and simple mechanical components, creating a platform that remains highly sought-after among enthusiasts and collectors even today.

 

This two-door 1969 Ford Bronco Restomod builds upon that foundation through a comprehensive frame-off restoration, incorporating modern mechanical upgrades and off-road hardware designed to significantly improve performance, capability, and durability.

 

Finished in Ruby Red Metallic, the exterior retains the classic boxy proportions that define the early Bronco while introducing several purposeful upgrades. Modified wheel arches with black squared-off fender flares (a design element reminiscent of the modern-day Bronco Raptor) provide clearance for the 40-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires.

 

Additional exterior features include a full removable wagon hard top, fiberglass hood, rear spare tire carrier, custom front bumper with integrated Warn winch, rocker guards, and modern LED headlights.

 

The Bronco rides on Gold 17-inch Raceline Monster wheels and benefits from a long-travel suspension lift supported by Bilstein remote reservoir shocks and custom shock towers. Additional suspension upgrades include James Duff radius arms, improving articulation and control when navigating uneven terrain.

 

Under the hood sits a fuel-injected Ford 302 cubic-inch V8 equipped with Holley Terminator throttle-body fuel injection. Power is routed through a 5-speed manual transmission and an Atlas transfer case, sending torque to a Dana 44 front axle and Ford 9-inch rear axle fitted with Detroit Locker differentials. Braking performance is enhanced by hydro-boosted four-wheel disc brakes supported by power steering.

 

Inside, the cabin combines vintage character with modern functionality. TMI Mustang “Pony” front and rear seats, a Deathgrip Alcantara steering wheel, vinyl upholstered door panels, and a Holley Terminator digital gauge cluster create a purposeful driver environment. Additional features include a Holley EFI display, Tuffy locking center console, color-matched full roll cage, twin-stick transfer case controls, and front and rear seat belts.  The sale also includes three keys.
