duPont REGISTRY Live is proud to present this 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider, a highly customized example that blends the analog driving experience of a gated manual Ferrari with extensive modern modifications and show-level presentation. Finished in Porsche Viola Purple Metallic and equipped with a Liberty Walk widebody kit, this F355 stands out as a one-off build with a documented appearance at the HOONIGAN booth during SEMA 2025.
Overview
Powered by a 3.5-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, this example retains the core characteristics of the F355 platform while incorporating select performance upgrades. Enhancements include a Gruppe M carbon fiber intake and engine bay trim, Tubi headers, and a Kreissieg valved exhaust system. Braking is handled by a Brembo GT-S big brake kit, while Airlift 3H air suspension provides adjustable ride height and stance.
The exterior is finished in Porsche Viola Purple Metallic and features a full Liberty Walk widebody conversion, including molded overfenders and a Liberty Walk rear spoiler. Additional details include 355 Challenge-style front and rear bumpers, purple-tinted carbon fiber canards, carbon fiber mirrors, carbon fiber Scuderia shields, and a carbon fiber taillight shroud. The car rides on 3-piece Rotiform TUF-R wheels and is equipped with Morimoto lighting upgrades, LED headlights, and full-body and windshield paint protection film.
Inside, the cabin has been fully reupholstered in custom tan leather and Alcantara, complemented by Recaro Sportster CS bucket seats. Driver-focused elements include an open-gate shifter, Liberty Walk steering wheel with quick release, and purple-tinted carbon fiber trim throughout the console. A factory F50 purple-tinted carbon fiber shift knob further ties into the car’s unique specification.
