Seller's Introduction
Our team at duPont REGISTRY Live proudly presents this 2006 Lamborghini Murciélago, finished in Giallo Orion over a black leather interior and showing just 14,314 miles. Powered by Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V12, this example has been upgraded with an EAG gated six-speed manual conversion, replacing its original automated transmission configuration with a traditional gated manual setup. Further distinguished as the only known 2006 Murciélago finished in Giallo Orion with carbon-ceramic brakes, this example also features 18-inch black Hercules alloy wheels, silver brake calipers, deployable rear air intakes, a glass engine cover, carbon-fiber interior appointments, a FabSpeed exhaust, and full-body paint protection film.
Overview
The Murciélago occupies an important place in Lamborghini’s V12 lineage, succeeding the Diablo and carrying the marque’s flagship supercar into the 21st century. Introduced for the 2002 model year, the Murciélago combined Lamborghini’s unmistakable wedge-shaped design with a naturally aspirated V12, and a more modern chassis than its predecessor.
This example is finished in Giallo Orion, a vivid Lamborghini shade that highlights the Murciélago’s angular bodywork and dramatic proportions. The exterior is equipped with 18-inch black Hercules alloy wheels, silver brake calipers, deployable rear air intakes, and a glass engine cover that exposes the V12 beneath. Notably, this example is the only known 2006 Murciélago finished in Giallo Orion equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, adding a particularly uncommon specification to its already distinctive configuration. Full-body paint protection film has also been applied to help preserve the Giallo Orion finish.
CarFax reports a minor rear end accident in 2025 which resulted in a salvage branding. The car now carries a Minnesota title with a "previous salvage" brand. Work following the accident was performed by MPerformance in Conroe, Texas and included a full engine out service with a new clutch and fluids. Photos of the process are included in the Extras section above. An invoice for the bodywork is available in the documents section.
The defining feature of this Murciélago is its EAG gated manual conversion. European Auto Group converted the car to a six-speed gated manual configuration, replacing its original automated shifting arrangement with a traditional manual transmission and open-gate shifter. The conversion brings a tactile, driver-focused element to the Murciélago’s V12 powertrain, complementing the car’s naturally aspirated engine and analog character. A FabSpeed exhaust further enhances the mechanical presentation and soundtrack of the V12.
Inside, the black leather cabin features yellow accent stitching and Lamborghini logos embossed into the headrests. A carbon-fiber interior package adds exposed composite trim throughout the cabin, while quilted floor mats with Lamborghini logos provide additional detailing. The combination of black leather, yellow accents, and carbon fiber creates a purposeful interior that complements the Giallo Orion exterior.
Power comes from Lamborghini’s 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V12, paired with the EAG-converted six-speed gated manual transmission and sending power through the car’s rear wheels. The combination of twelve-cylinder power and traditional manual shifting delivers the mechanical configuration that has helped establish the Murciélago as one of Lamborghini’s most memorable V12 models.
Showing just 14,314 miles, this Murciélago presents with a particularly distinctive combination of low mileage and uncommon specification. The sale includes one key.
With its Giallo Orion finish, low-mileage presentation, carbon-ceramic brakes, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, rear-wheel drive conversion, and EAG gated six-speed manual conversion, this Murciélago offers a particularly distinctive interpretation of Lamborghini’s flagship V12. As the only known 2006 Murciélago finished in Giallo Orion with carbon-ceramic brakes, its specification is further distinguished by a combination of rarity and driver-focused mechanical character that has become increasingly difficult to replicate in the modern era.
Inspectors Notes: This is a beautiful example of the last analog V12 Lamborghini. The Giallo finish makes the car pop and the FabSpeed exhaust makes the car scream!
