Seller's Introduction
Our team at duPont REGISTRY Live presents this 2007 Ferrari F430 Coupe, finished in Nero over a black leather interior and equipped with the highly desirable factory gated 6-speed manual transmission. Showing just 10,305 miles at the time of cataloging, this example represents one of the last naturally aspirated, analog Ferraris before the dual clutch era took hold. With a clean history, four documented owners, full body paint protection film, and extensive original accessories included, this F430 offers a rare opportunity to experience Ferrari’s mid-2000s V8 platform in its purest mechanical form, with the gated manual configuration further elevating this car into modern collectible territory.
Overview
Positioned between the 360 Modena and 458 Italia, the Ferrari F430 marked a significant evolution within Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 Berlinetta lineage when it debuted in 2004. It introduced Formula 1-derived electronics and aerodynamic advancements, all while retaining a naturally aspirated character that defined the era. Designed by Pininfarina under the leadership of Frank Stephenson, the F430 platform had matured into one of the Italian marque’s most balanced modern sports cars by 2007.
Finished in original Nero paint over black leather, this example presents a purposeful, understated aesthetic. It rides on 19-inch grey alloy wheels with black brake calipers and benefits from full-body paint protection film. Inside, the understated theme continues with an extensive range of factory options that include Nero Daytona-style seats, carbon fiber driving zone trim, an upholstered headliner, and a Continental radio, which lends a period-correct yet cockpit. A high-power HiFi system with a subwoofer further enhances usability.
As for performance, at its core sits a 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 that produces 483 horsepower, 342 pound-feet of torque, and revs to an impressive 8,500 rpm. An aftermarket exhaust fitted on the car seen here further amplifies the already impressive soundtrack. 60 mph takes less than 4.0 seconds, with top speed rated at 196 mph, and a Fiorano laptime of 1:27.00.
However, what makes this example particularly appealing is that it packs a factory 6-speed gated manual transmission that sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. The exposed metal gate is renowned for delivering exceptional shift action. Combined with the E-diff and the tactile driving experience that the F430 offers has become increasingly rare, especially as most F430s were ordered with the F1 paddle gearbox. Today, aftermarket manual conversions exist, but factory manual cars represent a small fraction (believed to be between 5-10% or between 90 and 300 units) of total production. Factor in U.S. allocations, and those numbers likely drop even more, making it among the rarest and most collectible specifications.
Showing 10,305 miles, this exotic carries a clean history with four owners reported across Pennsylvania, Montana, and Delaware. Crucially, it is being offered with original-Ferrari branded accessories and documentation that includes two keys, vehicle information passport, original window sticker, a complete tool kit, jack kit, inflation kit, Ferrari trickle charger, and manuals. The original exhaust system is also included in the sale.
With its naturally aspirated V8 and hydraulic steering feel, the F430 represents the closing chapter of Ferrari’s analog supercar era before turbocharging and dual clutch transmissions reshaped the lineup at Maranello. This Nero example with the factory-gated manual further enhances appeal and presents an excellent opportunity for collectors to acquire something exceptionally rare.
Update 3/3/2026: It is reported that this car was built personally by the former owner of Ferrari Philadelphia as his personal car. Featuring factory Scuderia wheels, OEM spare tire kit, carbon fiber interior, extended leather upholstery, and Alcantara inserts in Daytona seating make this a 1 of 1 spec. The addition of the carbon fiber driving zone moves the Cavalino to the top of the carbon shift knob and replaces the prancing horse on the shift gate for the shift pattern.
Update 3/12/2026: The car was just given a clean bill of health by the local Ferrari dealer where the car received service for a fluid reservoir recall and new rear sway bar bushings.
