Seller's Introduction

Our team at duPont REGISTRY Live is proud to present this extremely rare 2007 Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, a factory-gated manual example and one of only 26 delivered to the United States. Finished in a striking Giallo Orion over a Nero Perseus and Giallo leather interior, this example shows approximately over 40,000 miles on the odometer. Previously owned by YouTuber DDE, the car underwent a comprehensive professional refinish by Royalty Exotic Cars in Las Vegas following a reported incident in 2022. Retaining select enhancements, including an upgraded exhaust and infotainment system, and powered by a 6.5-liter V12 paired with a gated 6-speed manual transmission, it represents a highly desirable modern Lamborghini, and a compelling opportunity for keen collectors who truly know the significance of this highly desirable raging bull.

Overview

The Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 represents a defining moment in Italian modern history, a car that successfully balanced Audi-era engineering with Lamborghini’s unmistakable character. Introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the LP640 elevated the Murciélago into a sharper, more capable flagship while preserving its raw identity.

At its core sits a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 that in stock form produces 640 horsepower, paired in this example with a factory-equipped gated 6-speed manual transmission and full-time all-wheel drive. Of the 179 manual Murciélagos produced globally, just 26 were delivered to the United States, placing this example among the rarest factory manual Lamborghinis ever built. Unlike aftermarket conversions, factory-gated cars carry a level of authenticity that further defines their collectibility.

This particular example has an interesting story. Per CarFax, an incident was reported in 2022, after which the vehicle was professionally repaired and completely refinished by Royalty Exotic Cars in Las Vegas, specialists with deep expertise in the Murciélago platform. The result is a car that has been brought back to near-factory condition while retaining select enhancements.

Finished in Giallo Orion and protected by full paint protection film. Exterior highlights include iconic dihedral doors, asymmetric side air intakes, a center-mounted single exhaust outlet, an active rear spoiler, 18-inch gloss black Hemera-style forged wheels paired with yellow-painted brake calipers, all while preserving the iconic silhouette originally penned by Luc Donckerwolke.

Inside, the stock theme continues with the Nero Perseus and Giallo leather interior, which is complemented by extensive carbon fiber trim, including the center console and sill plates. Black leather seats with yellow Q-citura stitching, a leather and carbon fiber steering wheel, and an updated Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system balance originality with usability, while the driver-focused instrument cluster maintains the car’s analog feel.

Mechanically, the car features carbon-ceramic brakes with ventilated discs, a front axle lift system, limited-slip differentials, and electronically controlled damping, delivering both performance and usability.

With its rarity, factory manual configuration, and striking specification, this LP640 stands as one of the last truly analog V12 Lamborghinis, and opportunities to acquire one at this level continue to remain exceptionally limited.
