Seller's Introduction

Our team presents one of the most important modern-era Ferrari track specials, a 2008 Ferrari F430 Scuderia, developed under the direction of seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, Michael Schumacher. The Scuderia represents the most focused road-going evolution of the mid-engined F430 platform. Showing just under 18,800 miles and supported by extensive documentation, including the original window sticker, CARFAX, and recent Ferrari dealer service records, this example offers both mechanical integrity and collector credibility.

Overview

Introduced as Ferrari’s lightweight, track-oriented flagship in the mid-2000s, the F430 Scuderia brought Formula 1-derived technology into a road-legal package with few compromises. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 that puts out 503 horsepower, the Scuderia was both more powerful and significantly lighter than the standard F430, shedding approximately 220 pounds through extensive use of carbon fiber, thinner glass, stripped sound insulation, and a spartan interior. Performance reflected these changes, with 0 to 60 mph achieved in approximately 3.5 seconds and top speed rated at 196 mph.

The Scuderia’s F1 SuperFast 2 (SF2) transmission sends power to the rear wheels and delivers shift times as quick as 60 milliseconds. At the same time, standard carbon ceramic brakes, an electronically controlled differential (E-Diff2), and revised suspension geometry transformed the F430 into a machine capable of genuine track dominance. Unlike later turbocharged Ferrari special models, the Scuderia remains firmly rooted in the naturally aspirated era, contributing significantly to its long-term desirability.

This specific 2008 example, finished in Rosso, features over $24,000 in factory options, including Leather Upholstery ($5,273) and the Racing Stripe ($8,264), and Gold Rims ($1,788), among others. Records show consistent service, and CARFAX confirms no accidents or damage, with four private owners across Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico, along with steady mileage accumulation typical of enthusiast ownership.

In 2025, the car also underwent a major service visit at Ferrari Puerto Rico, totaling $23,832.88, addressing a transmission-area oil leak, complete clutch and flywheel replacement, sensor updates, fluid service, battery replacement, and recall work, including brake reservoir cap replacement and instrument cluster software updates, ensuring the car is mechanically current and ready for use.

With rising appreciation for special analog Ferrari models, the F430 Scuderia stands out as one of the last truly raw, non-turbocharged, paddle-shift Ferraris developed directly with Formula 1 input and famously got around Ferrari's Fiorano test track in 1:25 with Michael Schumacher behind the wheel, a key figure involved in the car's development. It is believed that anywhere between 1,500 and 2,000 units of the 430 Scuderias were produced, with an estimated 700-800 making it to the United States. Its balance of usability, motorsport pedigree, and visceral character places it firmly among the most collectible modern Ferraris.
