Seller's Introduction
Our team presents a 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia, a lightweight motorsport-derived evolution of the F430 developed with direct Formula One input from seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Michael Schumacher. Finished in Nero over Black Alcantara with 14,716 miles, this example retains the raw, single-clutch character that defines Ferrari's late-2000s performance era. With factory options totaling $11,218, and an original MSRP of $304,311, this Scuderia was specified with desirable features including Alcantara interior, Racing Stripe, a White Tachometer, and Red Brake Calipers.
Overview
The F430 Scuderia represented a major performance step beyond the standard F430, trading comfort for uncompromising track focus. Weight was reduced by approximately 220 pounds through thinner glass, lighter bumpers, titanium springs, extensive use of carbon fiber, and a stripped-down cabin, bringing curb weight to 2,975 pounds.
Power sits at 503 horsepower from the 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8, breathing through high-flow exhaust with an unmistakable, metallic shriek past 8500 rpm. Paired with the 6-speed F1-SuperFast electro-hydraulic gearbox, shifting in as little as 60 milliseconds. 60 mph comes up in less than 3.6 seconds, and top speed is rated at 198 mph. The rear-wheel drive Scuderia was able to lap Ferrari's Fiorano test circuit in 1:25, on par with the V-12-powered Enzo Supercar (1:22), cementing its reputation as one of Ferrari's most emotionally intense modern supercars.
This particular example appears to have received a full repaint in Nero, displaying high finish quality. A carbon fiber fuel door cover is installed. CarFax notes one minor incident reported, with no structural damage indicated. The interior remains consistent with Scuderia specification and features lightweight Alcantara upholstery, color-stitching, driver-focused controls, and LED shift lights integrated into the steering wheel.
As one of Ferrari's last naturally aspirated V8 track specials before the 458 Italia and the dual-clutch generation, the Scuderia stands as a reference point for raw connection and mechanical purity. Enthusiasts and collectors continue to regard it as one of the most emotionally rewarding Ferraris to drive at speed, combining motorsport calibration with usability. Its mechanical purity, rising market desirability, and connection to Schumacher era DNA position the Ferrari F430 Scuderia as a long-term blue chip icon.
