Seller's Introduction

Making its platform debut on duPont REGISTRY Live is this 2014 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6, further developed by Brabus to B63-S 700 specification. Finished in black over a two-tone black and white quilted leather interior with red accent stitching, this imposing truck is one of approximately 100 G63 AMG 6x6s produced worldwide and is one of only approximately 15 examples to receive the full Brabus B63-S 700 conversion. Mercedes-Benz never officially imported the G63 AMG 6x6 to North America, which meant every US-market example had to undergo individual federalization before registration. Showing just 8,308 miles at the time of cataloging, this highly desirable G63 AMG 6x6 represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most exclusive, technically ambitious, and collectible modern Mercedes-Benz models to be offered at auction.

Overview

The G63 AMG 6x6 is among the most extraordinary production vehicles ever built by Mercedes-Benz. Produced between 2013 and 2015 at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria, where G-Class production has been centered since the model's inception, the six-wheeled platform traces its origins to military G-Class variants developed for the Australian Defence Forces, whose fleet includes Mercedes-Benz G-Class 6x6 tactical and reconnaissance vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz adapted that proven architecture into a civilian machine powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, routed through a seven-speed automatic transmission to all three driven axles via five independently locking differentials. The roof-mounted controls operate the central tire inflation system, bringing all six tires from flat to road-ready pressure in approximately 20 seconds, while the portal axles raise ground clearance to nearly 20 inches by connecting each axle near the top of the wheel through a reduction gear.

Brabus elevated the platform further under its B63-S 700 program, increasing the V8's output from 536 to 700 horsepower, a substantial gain for a truck weighing approximately 9,000 pounds. A valved exhaust system allows the driver to switch between standard and sport exhaust modes using a steering wheel-mounted control, while Öhlins dampers replace the standard AMG suspension, and a dual fuel tank setup provides approximately 40 gallons of combined capacity.

Finished in black, the exterior is distinguished by exposed matte carbon-fiber fenders that dramatically widen the truck's stance, complemented by a matching carbon-fiber hood scoop, hood louvres, and roof-mounted light bar. 18-inch Hutchinson beadlock wheels with red accents, Xenon headlights, LED auxiliary lighting, an electronically operated sunroof, tubular rear bumpers, and a chrome-finished rear roll bar complete the specification.

Step inside via the deployable side steps and find a Brabus-upgraded cabin trimmed in black and white quilted leather with contrasting red stitching across the seats and door panels, complemented by a matching two-tone steering wheel, carbon fiber center console, and white headliner. Additional appointments include a Harman Kardon HIFI sound system, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, rear entertainment screens with headphones, and a rear refrigerator for added convenience.

While Mercedes-Benz's six-wheel-drive lineage can be traced back to the W31 G4 of the 1930s, the G63 AMG 6x6 reimagined that concept for the modern era, emerging as one of the most technically ambitious, mechanically capable, and collectible production vehicles ever to wear the three-pointed star
