Our team is proud to present a purist favorite: a UTLRA low-mile example of one of Porsche’s most celebrated modern icons, a 2016 Porsche 911 R, with just 101 miles on the odometer. Finished in historically significant White over Red and Black houndstooth interior, this is a reference-grade, unmodified example of the 991-generation model. As one of just 991 units produced worldwide, the 911 R represents Porsche GT’s ultimate expression of lightweight philosophy, mechanical engagement, and analog driving purity.

The Porsche 911 R was unveiled as a statement car in 2016. At a time when the GT division was moving decisively toward PDK transmissions, active aerodynamics, and track-optimized complexity, the R went the opposite direction. It paired the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six from the 991.1 GT3 RS with a six-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a significant weight-reduction program inspired by the original 1967 911 R.

Making 500 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque, the R delivers its performance through a close-ratio gearbox and a single-mass flywheel, emphasizing throttle response and driver involvement over outright lap times. Porsche quoted 0-60 mph in approximately 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 201 mph, figures that remain impressive but ultimately secondary to the car’s character. Extensive use of carbon fiber and magnesium components, including carbon fiber front fenders, magnesium roof panel, reduced sound insulation, a stereo and air-con delete, resulting in a curb weight roughly 110 pounds lighter than a standard GT3 RS, tipping the scales at ~3,000 pounds. It is widely regarded as the 'Wingless GT3 RS,' a mantra that was also embraced by the 992.1 GT3 Touring.

This particular example ONLY has 101 miles on the clock at the time of documenting and has been tastefully specified with factory options amounting to ~$26,600. It remains completely original and unmodified, retaining its factory White paint with red 911 R side stripes, LED PDLS headlights, and 20-inch GT3 center-locking wheels. The interior is finished in Black leather with houndstooth cloth seat inserts, GT Silver deviated stitching, and the extended leather package, capturing the understated motorsport aesthetic that defines this model. Equipment includes Sport Chrono, carbon door sills, the light design package, and the extended-range fuel tank.

Ownership history that shows careful stewardship across multiple passionate collectors, with recent servicing completed in November 2024 by Graham Rahal Performance, including a maintenance inspection, brake fluid service, oil and filter change, and replacement of all four tires. Produced for a single model year, 2016, the car seen here is #292/991 examples of the modern-day 911R built in Zuffenhausen, of which only a fraction are believed to have made it stateside.
