Developed as the most extreme road-going AMG GT variant, the Black Series received substantial aerodynamic, suspension, and powertrain revisions over the standard AMG GT platform. The Project One Edition package further distinguishes the car with exclusive motorsport-inspired livery and detailing directly influenced by Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 design language.

Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential. Performance-focused hardware includes carbon ceramic brakes and a double wishbone suspension setup front and rear, contributing to the Black Series’ track-focused dynamics and aerodynamic capability.

Finished in Cirrus Silver fading into Obsidian Black, the exterior features Petronas turquoise accents, painted Mercedes-Benz stars, and exposed carbon fiber aerodynamic components throughout. Additional highlights include an extended fixed rear wing, 19/20-inch forged AMG Black Series wheels, and exposed carbon fiber splitter and intake vents, emphasizing the car’s motorsport-inspired design.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black Dinamica and leather upholstery accented by Petronas turquoise details. Features include a Burmester high-end surround sound system, matte carbon fiber crossbar, carbon fiber interior trim, and AMG carbon fiber door sill covers. Additional amenities include a digital gauge cluster and Lane Tracking Package, balancing track-focused intent with modern technology.
