The Audi R8 has long occupied a unique position in the supercar landscape. First introduced in 2007, it was developed as a road-going extension of Audi’s Le Mans-winning racing program, combining mid-engine performance with everyday usability. Built at Audi Sport’s Böllinger Höfe facility in Heilbronn, Germany, the R8 remained in production across two generations, countless variants in both coupe and roadster form, for 17 years. By 2023, the R8 V10 Performance had evolved into the most developed and final iteration of that formula, and production finally concluded in 2024.

 

At its core sits a 5.2-liter V10, a naturally aspirated engine shared with Lamborghini’s Huracán, a unit that is known for its linear power delivery, high-revving character, and distinctive soundtrack. In stock form, this powerplant produces 602 horsepower, 413 pound-feet of torque, with power going to all four wheels through Audi’s 7-speed DCT. 60 mph takes 3.1 seconds and tops out at 206 mph. 

 

In this example, the engine has been enhanced with a VF Engineering VF800 supercharger system. Installed in November 2025, it increases output significantly beyond the factory rating, somewhere in the ballpark of 800 to 830 horsepower, while maintaining drivability thanks to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system and an extensive list of standard equipment. 

 

This example was specified with just under $17,000 in factory options. Finished in Mythos Black Metallic, it is equipped with Audi’s Carbon Exterior Package, which includes a carbon front splitter and exhaust surrounds, as well as carbon sigma sideblades. Additionally, the supercharger housing, brake calipers, and badge accents are finished in Vegas Yellow, providing a distinctive contrast against the dark exterior. Titanium-finished 20-inch wheels, black exterior emblems, and full paint protection film complete the exterior.

 

Inside, the cabin features black upholstery with contrasting Vegas Yellow stitching, complemented by an extended leather package and carbon fiber trim. Diamond-stitched Nappa leather sport seats, an Alcantara headliner, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system reflect Audi’s focus on interior quality. A clean CarFax report, one key, original owner's manual, and window sticker are being offered with the sale.

 

Overall, fewer than 3,000 Gen R8 V10 facelift units were delivered to the United States, with even fewer Performance variants. With just 4,670 miles, documented history, and a supercharger upgrade, this R8 V10 Performance represents a distinctive example of Audi’s final naturally aspirated supercar, combining factory engineering with enhanced performance in a platform that remains usable and refined.
