Introduced in 2023 to celebrate 60 years of the 911, the S/T occupies a unique and highly revered position within the modern Porsche GT lineage. Rather than chasing lap times like an RS model, the S/T was conceived as a spiritual successor to Porsche’s legendary lightweight 911 S/T of the 1960s, prioritizing mass reduction, tactile feedback, and driver involvement above all else. Built on the 992-generation platform, it combines the 518-horsepower naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six from the 992.1 GT3 RS with a traditional 6-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, shorter gearing, a single-mass flywheel, and a curb weight of just 3,056 pounds. 60 mph takes ~3.7 seconds, with top speed sitting at an impressive 186 mph.

Often described as the wingless GT3 RS, the S/T delivers its performance without the aggressive aero of Porsche’s track-focused models. The cleaner bodywork, absent a fixed rear wing, gives the car a more restrained and timeless silhouette, further distinguished by subtle yet purposeful details such as the 911 S/T badging and Porsche logos finished in gold. Extensive use of lightweight materials throughout the chassis and drivetrain results in one of the lightest modern 911s ever produced.

 

This particular 2024 example finished in Ice Grey Metallic over the Heritage Design leather interior in Classic Cognac and Black; only has 288.4 miles on the odometer, with CarFax showing a single owner from Ohio. The car features a carefully selected list of factory options, including Ice Grey Metallic paint ($4,220), the Heritage Design Package 60 Years of the 911 ($20,360) with matching Heritage Design leather interior in Black/Classic Cognac, a front axle lift, extended-range fuel tank (23.7 gallons), LED headlights in black with PDLS+, Sport Chrono Package, Exclusive Design taillights, premium BOSE surround sound audio, aluminum pedals and footrest, and an individual limitation number. Overall factory options add up to just under $35,000.

 

As a limited-run model capped at just 1,963 units worldwide (the car here is #946), the 911 S/T was created specifically to celebrate 60 years of the Porsche 911, cementing its status as one of the most exclusive and historically significant modern GT models Porsche has ever produced. Comparisons are frequently drawn to the 2016 991.1 Porsche 911R, another single-year, limited-production model pairing a naturally aspirated flat-six with a manual gearbox, cars that were initially undervalued before becoming modern icons.
