Seller's Introduction
Making its platform debut on duPont REGISTRY Live, our team presents this 2024 Rimac Nevera, chassis 69 of 150, finished in a bespoke purple exterior over a black Alcantara interior with lime green accents. Originally specified by Steve Hamilton of the revered Hamilton Collection, this example carries a unique touch, as the dashboard bears the signature of Rimac founder Mate Rimac, now CEO of Bugatti Rimac and, long before the spotlight, an enthusiast through and through. Showing 3,788 miles at the time of documentation, the sale includes one key, a battery charger, a car cover, the owner's manual, and a key box.
Overview
The Rimac Nevera arrived in 2022 as the most powerful production car ever built at the time of its launch, an all-electric hypercar hand-assembled in Sveta Nedelja, Croatia, that redefined what electric performance could mean at the very highest end of the performance-car segment. With the G-forces pinning occupants into their seats, the best way to describe the Nevera's off-the-line performance is ballistic. It went on to set 23 acceleration and braking records, while also establishing a top-speed record for electric production cars at 258 mph.
At the heart of that performance lies a quad-motor powertrain, with one permanent-magnet electric motor dedicated to each wheel and fed by a structurally integrated 120-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Four independent inverters control the motors, while four single-speed gearboxes are packaged within three housings. Combined output is a staggering 1,914 horsepower and 1,741 pound-feet of torque, with Rimac's all-wheel torque-vectoring system managing power distribution independently at each corner. The Nevera can accelerate from 0-60 mph in a claimed 1.85 seconds.
The chassis hardware is similarly sophisticated. Electronically adjustable coilover dampers underpin the suspension, while electro-hydraulic CCM-R carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers handle stopping duties. A key element of the Nevera's capabilities is its active aerodynamic system, which operates through four independently controlled elements: a front hood profile and splitter, underbody air flaps, a rear diffuser, and an adaptive rear wing that also functions as an air brake. In Range mode, the system can reduce drag by 17.5 percent, while Track mode increases downforce by 326 percent. Under hard braking at speed, the rear wing can move into its vertical air-brake position in under 0.3 seconds. Underpinning it all is a carbon-fiber monocoque that forms the structural core of the Nevera.
Coming to this particular example, chassis number 69 was a deliberate choice when ordering the car, adding another distinctive touch to an already bespoke specification. Its purple paint is contrasted by lime green brake calipers and staggered-width 20-inch SMW wheels. Carbon fiber features extensively throughout the exterior, including the rearview mirror housings and numerous additional accents, while the Nevera's dramatic butterfly doors complete the hypercar profile. The body is also protected by full-body paint protection film, helping preserve its bespoke finish.
Inside, the black Alcantara cabin carries lime green accents throughout, complemented by power-adjustable Sabelt carbon-fiber-backed seats and billet aluminum controls. Three TFT screens divide information between a configurable driver display, central infotainment system, and telemetry data, while a Focal sound system provides the audio. A numbered plaque positioned between the seats identifies this example as "69 of 150," while Mate Rimac's signature on the dashboard provides another direct connection to the man behind the car.
Now, this may be a hypercar, but it is also an EV, which brings us to range. Despite its breathtaking performance figures, the Nevera was engineered for long-distance usability, with its 120-kWh battery providing a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 550 km, or roughly 342 miles. DC fast-charging capability of up to 500 kW allows the battery to charge from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 22 minutes under suitable conditions. For U.S. use, the Nevera is equipped with a CCS1 charging port, providing access to compatible public DC fast-charging infrastructure.
Beyond the Nevera's significance as a technological milestone, this particular example brings together several details that distinguish it within an already exclusive model line. As the Nevera increasingly takes its place in the story of the modern hypercar, this example offers its next custodian a distinctive piece of that history.
Inspectors Notes: This car completely redefined performance for me, and made everything else feel slow that I once thought was really fast. The Purple really pops in person, and the interior has a great fit and finish.
