The duPont REGISTRY Live team presents a highly specified 2016 Ferrari F12tdf, finished in a special-order Grigio Ferro Metallic over a black Alcantara interior, with 15,382 miles at the time of cataloging. Configured with over $100,000 in factory options and benefiting from meticulous ownership, a Ferrari Classiche certification, recent authorized servicing, and discreet paint protection, this example represents a compelling opportunity to acquire a highly collectible, well-documented example of one of Maranello's most extreme limited-production road cars.

Unveiled as the ultimate evolution of the F12berlinetta in 2015, the Ferrari F12tdf, named in tribute to the "Tour de France Automobile" race of the 1950s, was produced in strictly limited numbers (799 units), and was engineered with a singular focus on weight reduction (242 pounds lighter than standard F12). Power comes from Ferrari’s legendary 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12, delivering 769 horsepower through a rapid-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, paired with extensive use of lightweight materials, advanced chassis electronics, and downforce of up to 507 pounds at 124 mph. The most distinguishing visual highlight of the F12tdf is the pronounced Gills/Louvers on the rear fenders.

 

This particular example was custom-ordered by its original owner, who specified the car with exceptional care and restraint. Finished in special-order Grigio Ferro Metallic, the exterior is complemented by extensive exposed carbon fiber elements, including the carbon headlight buckets, carbon underdoor covers, and carbon racing seats, reinforcing the car’s track-focused intent while enhancing long-term desirability. Black brake calipers, forged 20-inch alloy wheels, and Scuderia Ferrari shields complete the exterior specification.

 

The cabin is equally striking, featuring a highly bespoke combination of Blu Scuro Alcantara, matte carbon fiber, Blu Sterling accents throughout, and a high-power Hi-Fi system with Apple CarPlay compatibility, adding modern convenience to this track-focused model. Collectively, the bespoke specifications added well over $100,000 to the original MSRP, resulting in a configuration that makes it among the most thoughtfully executed F12tdf builds to leave Maranello. To preserve its presentation, the majority of the exterior was professionally protected with clear paint protection film from new.

 

Importantly, this F12tdf carries a Ferrari Classiche certification, following a factory-commissioned replacement and repaint of the front bumper and fender after minor cosmetic damage early in its life, completed using original Ferrari parts and factory paint processes. The result is a car that retains its integrity, originality of drivetrain, and collector credibility.
