The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport represents a fundamental shift in direction for the French marque. Introduced in 2020 as a handling-focused evolution of the Chiron, it moves away from outright top speed and instead prioritizes precision, responsiveness, and driver engagement for track duty. Where most Chirons can easily get past 250 mph, the Chiron Pur Sport tops out at 218 mph. Limited to just 60 units worldwide, it represents one of the most focused interpretations of Bugatti’s quad-turbocharged W16 platform.

 

This example was delivered new to Bugatti Greenwich in Stamford, Connecticut, later registered in New York, and now shows approximately 7,630 miles. It is finished in the optional “Pur Sport Split” configuration, pairing Blanc upper surfaces with exposed grey carbon fiber lower bodywork. This $225,000 factory option highlights the carbon-fiber monocoque construction. Tangerine accents extend across the exterior, including the fixed rear wing lettering, red brake calipers, and engine cover, while full-body paint protection film preserves the finish. Inside, the cabin is finished in Tangerine leather and Alcantara over carbon-fiber sport seats, complemented by black anodized aluminum trim and a driver-focused layout anchored by a 300 mph analog speedometer.

 

Power comes from a Pïech-era 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 that produces 1,479 horsepower, paired with a Ricardo 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel-drive system using a Borg-Warner front differential and Haldex traction control. Revised gearing, approximately 15 percent shorter than the standard Chiron, delivers stronger acceleration and improved corner exit response. This car still carries the factory warranty through 6/11/2026 and includes one remaining covered service before the warranty ends. 

Chassis enhancements include stiffer springs, reduced ride height, revised damper tuning, and carbon-fiber anti-roll bars. A 3D-printed titanium exhaust system and lightweight components contribute to an approximate 110-pound weight reduction. Staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels house carbon-ceramic brakes with titanium calipers, delivering exceptional stopping performance.

With $370,000 in factory options, this example reflects a carefully specified configuration within an already limited production run. This Chiron Pur Sport represents a rare convergence of engineering excellence, motorsport-bred hardware, and, more importantly, exclusivity. It is also worth noting that examples configured at this level rarely come to market and should be on the radar of any serious collector.
